The Squier Bronco Bass is great for guitarists who occasionally need a bass, younger beginners, smaller players, or for anyone who likes the feel of a short-scale (30") bass. It tunes easily and sounds full and rich, thanks to its single-coil pickup, maple neck, die-cast tuners and solid agathis body.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Good beginner bass
We bough this short scale bass for our 10 year old daughter mainly because she specifically liked the look of this one. The red is very cherry red, which is what she'd asked for. And the light wood for the neck make it easy to see the frets. However... there seems to be a bot of fret buzz on the lowest string. Maybe I'm not tuning it properly though, as I'm not a musician. Also, the tuning knobs seem to be a little cheap in quality. At least one seems to not be very tight - or appears that it may be slipping in tension.
For the price though... I feel we made a good decision in this purchase.
