It's a one hundred dollar guitar. Temper your expectations.
Just picked up this guitar. My aim is to give an unbiased review of the guitar. First, I paid about the same as Amazon is advertising this for, slightly less.
First the PROS:
The guitar was packaged probably the best I've ever seen a guitar packaged. The entire box arrived wrapped in bubble wrap. After removing the bubble wrap the guitar was DOUBLE boxed. After opening both boxes, the guitar itself was also wrapped in bubble wrap. Upon freeing the guitar from the bubble wrap bag, the pickup selector switch had a styrofoam piece protecting it that I removed and the strings themselves were wrapped in light paper. Most impressive packing job.
The guitar is a looker. Very nice looking guitar. Nice finish with no flaws on the body. Neck is straight. Of course it needed a setup out of the box, what guitar doesn't? But I'm skilled at setting up Floyd Rose guitars so this was no big deal. Very sexy.

Truly a bargain!
Fantastic guitar! Its incredibly beautiful & is very well made too. Its hard to believe that its only $120! In the 80s this guitar would have cost $500+ for sure.
X-Factor
Don't let the price fool you. This is a pretty awesome guitar. The guitar is definitely made mostly for metal but other styles can also be played. Only draw back is if your not familiar with setting up the guitar you will be frustrated. Once the bridge is adjusted, along with rising the pickups a bit, the guitar sounds pretty sweet. Would recommend this guitar to anyone who wants a cool looking guitar for a great price. If your not familiar with setting up the guitar, most shops will do it for you for a small fee. Personally I would get one of your buddies to do it for you if you lack the patients.
