With its offset waist, contoured body and 24” scale “fast action” neck the new Vintage Modified Jaguar® HH gives a nod to its iconic forbearer but has other things going for it that make it truly 'modified'. The unique top-loading hard tail bridge features string saddles which are adjustable for intonation and designed to have a 9.5” radius when sitting flat on the bridge plate. The bridge is anchored at the rear of the plate while the front sits atop height adjustment screws which can be raised or lowered to achieve desired string height/action while subtle adjustment at the rear (anchor) achieves the correct bridge angle. The Jaguar HH is quipped with a set of Duncan Designed™ pickups which offer a multitude of “hot-rodded” humbucking tones. Other features include '62 Jazz Bass® concentric volume/tone controls, vintage style tuners and a comfortable one-piece maple neck with rosewood fingerboard.

Great Beach Boys Sound
When I saw the Beach Boys in concert and heard the fabulous sound of the Jaguar I knew someday I wanted to own one. As a child of the days when surf was king it produced the beach sound I had been searching for. I also have a Fender American Standard Stratocaster as played by Dick Dale and a Gretsch 5129 as played by Duane Eddy. These along with the proper fender amps produces the sound I had been looking for for ages.
The Jaguar is a quality made instrument and I absolutely love playing the butter smooth action of this guitar.

If u can get over the Squier factor, this is a good axe for the dough.
Killer tone, lools and plays like a dream
Bridge is the only wonly con. Most offfset guitars have @ least 1 weird bridge issue. This one is no different. Taken getting used to setting up,but once it's correct ...amazing ..Has. some really great tones u wouldn't expect to get for the $$.Overall. no complaints.
Squier is starting to shine!
I talked to a guy at a local music store who had me play a Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster. I'll admit that I'm not a fan of P90's because of the annoying buzz and I'm not into buying pedals just to cut back on the noise. Besides that the Jazzmaster did kind of blow me away. I've played Squiers before and owned a couple but they never lasted as part of my guitar arsenal because of how cheap they were. Now, I can say that this Jaguar will stick around. I love the shape, color, and tone I get from this guitar. The bridge does rattle a bit but not too noticeably. Squier guitars are mid-line guitars now and can take their place proudly next to Epiphones and other mid-line guitars. Great buy!!
