Good Bass for the Price
This is a pretty sweet bass for the price. It plays well and sounds good through my Laney practice amp with a six inch speaker or my main stage rig that has 2 15 inch speakers. The main down side is that you can't turn the volume down. The specs say there are two volume controls but they are actually Tone controls. The neck is very playable and once I got a good setup on it I liked playing it as much as my Spector bass which is the main one I use for gigging. It is extremely light but has plenty of punch for the setup.
The tone/no volume control is the only reason I marked this 4 stars instead of 5. When playing a gig being able to kill the volume on a bass is kind of important.
Still a good value and a great playing bass. I like the look of it which is the main reason I picked it up. The skull motif is not for everyone.
