Fender’s popular Mustang® Bass guitar was introduced in 1966 as a cool short-scale alternative to its illustrious long-scale big brothers. This thoroughbred reissue captures the original instrument’s feisty mid-’60s vibe, and is perfect for players who prefer a shorter scale (30”) or have smaller hands. Guitar players and younger musicians will find it especially comfortable to play. Features include a solid alder body, split single-coil pickup and a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays and nickel/silver frets.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Beautiful Thumper
Many years ago, I owned a few P basses and really loved them. For some reason though, I sold them and never really came back to the bass afterwards. I love my Mustang guitar though, and thought I'd give the bass a go. Great decision. It's super lightweight with really slick, fast action. The tone is pretty much perfect and the bass really does thump. The guitar itself is beautiful, and really, the price is pretty spot on also. Just an all around good bass, and well worth consideration if you play, whether regularly or simply here and there. One further note....the tunings dont slip at all on mine, and I play several, from standard to drop D to a half and full step detune and a drop from there. Doesnt bother the guitar at all.
